Vicky was brough to us by a citizen concerned about her well-being. Her original owners moved house, and she was left behind. It is evident that despite how young she is, she just had puppies. Although she was covered in fleas, her gentle face stole our hearts, and we just had to help.

We have already done the necessary tests and, fortunately, she is healthy! We gave her flea and tick treatment, heartworm preventative, and she is about to start her vaccination protocol.

Thanks to our sponsorship and independent rescue programs, Vicky is now in foster care and has her health care completely covered! Now that she is in a loving home, it’s clear that any company – human or animal – does her a lot of good! When you approach her she’s a little scared, but now that she has more security and feels protected and loved, she is calm and is happy to come to you for kisses and cuddles. She listens well and loves treats, especially ice cubes. She also enjoys playing with toys and with other animals, often at the same time! Vicky is a gentle and loving soul to all.

We are continually evolving to meet the needs of the island’s animals. At this time, we urgently need to expand our surgery, preparation, and recovery areas to keep pace with our ongoing TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program. In addition to our clinic work, we support independent rescuers by sharing donated food and supplies, providing free sterilizations for their rescues, and assisting with urgent medical care.

Every donation directly contributes to improving the lives of Cozumel’s dogs and cats, ensuring they receive the care and compassion they deserve.

We must continue raising funds not only for sterilizations, but also to vaccinate Cozumel’s animals against some of the most devastating and painful diseases still prevalent on the island—such as heartworm and distemper.

Your support makes this possible. Please, help us help them!
