When Pumba came to us, he was only two months old. He was tiny, severely underweight, covered in ticks, and had already experienced far too much suffering for such a young puppy.
We did everything we could: we rescued him, fed him, cared for him, and made sure he received the veterinary attention he needed.
Pumba has now been waiting 11 months for a family, and it breaks our hearts. Now he has 1 year old,
Here, he has food, a roof over his head, medical care, and lots of love… but when it’s time for us to close for the day, the doors close and Pumba is left waiting for another day.
He deserves more.
He deserves a warm bed to sleep in, someone to take him for walks, to discover the world with him—to explore the malecón, a park, a home… and simply have someone waiting for him when he comes back home.

Pumba is a sweet, curious, intelligent dog with a medium energy level. He can happily stay by your side while you watch a show or work, but he would also love a peaceful walk and the chance to explore.
Pumba doesn’t ask for much. He’s only asking for a chance.
