Pinky is about to celebrate three months with us, and we couldn’t be happier to see how much he has changed. 🥹💙
When he first arrived, he was a very shy, insecure, and frightened little cat. Trusting people was difficult for him, and he needed time to understand where he was and feel safe.
But little by little… Pinky began to blossom. 🌸🐾
✨ He isn’t as scared anymore.
✨ He comes down and approaches us.
✨ He plays with one of our orange kittens. 🧡
✨ He lets us pet him.
✨ He allows us to take pictures of him.
✨ And most importantly, he has started to trust us and his new surroundings. 🥹❤️
And although we are so proud of him, there is still something that worries us deeply…
💔 Pinky is still waiting for a family.
He has been waiting for more than two years to find a forever home. And we see how happy our adopted cats are in their homes—sleeping in their cozy beds, playing, receiving love, and finally enjoying having a family… and we can’t stop thinking that Pinky deserves to experience that too.
Because Pinky is beautiful. 🥰
He has the most wonderful eyes and, above all, a beautiful soul. 💙
Pinky was rescued by Casa de Patas when he was a tiny feral kitten. Now he is with us, and we have one big dream for him: that he will soon find a loving home of his own.
He needs a patient, loving, and committed family who understands that trust takes time to build… and that when a cat like Pinky finally learns to trust you, that bond can be something truly special. 💙
🏡🐱 Pinky is still waiting for his happy ending.
Could it be with you? 🥹💙

We are continually evolving to meet the needs of the island’s animals. At this time, we urgently need to expand our surgery, preparation, and recovery areas to keep pace with our ongoing TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program. In addition to our clinic work, we support independent rescuers by sharing donated food and supplies, providing free sterilizations for their rescues, and assisting with urgent medical care.

Every donation directly contributes to improving the lives of Cozumel’s dogs and cats, ensuring they receive the care and compassion they deserve.

We must continue raising funds not only for sterilizations, but also to vaccinate Cozumel’s animals against some of the most devastating and painful diseases still prevalent on the island—such as heartworm and distemper.

Your support makes this possible. Please, help us help them!
