When you foster an animal, you’re giving them the chance to find a permanent home.
Pets that have spent time living in a healthy housing situation after their rescue have significantly higher chances of being adopted.
By providing the time and attention that an animal needs, you can help them on their way to a happy life.
As a foster family, we work together to provide what each individual animal needs in order to get them ready for adoption. We mantain communication throughout their recovery process, health protocols, and permanent housing prospects.
When selecting foster family candidates, we follow a set of procedures to ensure a perfect match, prioritizing the well-being of our animals. It involves a thoughtful questionnaire, a friendly interview to understand your preferences and lifestyle, combined with a home visit to ensure a safe and loving environment for your new housemate.
Together, we can give these precious animals the care and compassion they deserve.

Each animal below has been rescued by the Humane Society of Cozumel Island and is searching for a temporary Foster Family.
We will provide all necessary accomodations to ensure you are in the best position to attend to each animal’s unique and specific circumstances in order to ready them for a permanent adoption.
