Five years ago, Rayas was rescued with the hope that he would soon find a loving family. But that day still hasn\u2019t come.<\/div><\/div>
The person who rescued him had very territorial dogs, and despite trying everything, they were never able to safely integrate Rayas with them. Even so, they never gave up on him. For the past five years, they have covered all of his expenses and kept him at a boarding facility, where he gets to play with other dogs during the day.<\/div><\/div>

He has never known what it\u2019s like to sleep in a cozy bed, have a family to love, or receive affection simply because he belongs.<\/div><\/div>
Rayas is about to turn 7 years old. He is a gentle, calm, and well-mannered dog. He is healthy, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and ready to become part of a loving family.<\/div><\/div>
There is one important thing to know: walks still make him nervous, so he will need a patient family willing to help him build confidence little by little. An ideal home would have a securely fenced yard where he can comfortably go outside while he learns to enjoy the world at his own pace.<\/div><\/div>
